2024 Donation Appeal

Dear Family and Friends,

Our family established a foundation and scholarship to honor our father's legacy, Michelangelo Rizzo. The U.S. Naturalization Board later renamed him Michael (Mike) Ritzzo. The Foundation's inaugural scholarship, awarded on May 23, 2024, was a moment of pride and inspiration for us all. The recipient, a student from Norwalk High School, was chosen for her academic excellence, community involvement, and essay and interview, which beautifully reflected the values of Michelangelo and the influence of her Italian heritage. Members of the Ritzzo family were present to announce and present the $5,000 award to Emily Koba, who is now studying at West Virginia University.

Please consider donating to the Ritzzo Education Foundation on this giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Any amount is welcome. Those donating $100 or more may choose to have a name in memory of a loved one added to our memorial wall.

If the individual you would like to remember is already listed, we will add it again with your name as the donor. We hope you will consider giving to the Ritzzo Family Education Foundation, Inc. The Ritzzo Family Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 registered in Florida and qualifies as a taxexempt organization for donations from any U.S. State.
